Alison (AJae) started Make Me a Hot Mama Magazine in March of 2008 when she was pregnant with her first child. Although the magazine got off to a rocky start, its mission has never changed: encouraging and supporting savvy women dealing with the challenges of motherhood. Often a mom's appearance is the last priority in her busy life, yet, as we all know, it is so important to our self-esteem as hot mamas.A veteran of the U.S. Army turned Army wife, AJae currently resides in Japan with her adorable 15 month old son and super soldier husband. And, when she's not managing Make Me a Hot Mama or writing her Work It! Wednesday column, AJae twitters and writes for her other blog, A is for Activist!.
